Meet Karen Heselton of Forgotten Petals

Karen learned to take a functional, naturopathic approach to healing because she knows firsthand how various sensitivities affect people and pets.
Not only does Karen have rare adrenal tumors but also a rare disease called Hereditary Alpha Tryptase-(H.A.T.), Mastocytosis-Mast Cell Activation, and autonomic dysautonomia Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia, leaving her sensitive to foods, medicines, beauty, and cleaning products, fragrances, insect bites, heat, and other irritants. Exposure to any of these can cause mast cell activation with cascading inflammatory responses.
To counter this, Karen combined her experience as a veterinary technician, extensive studies - certification in herbalism, and a lifelong passion for research into clinical trial studies in the fields of medicine, ethnoveterinary medicine, energy medicine, epidemiology, naturopathy, aromatherapy, ancient remedies, parasite detox and nutrition to create remedies or solutions for both people and animals.
